We are committed to building and maintaining respectful and collaborative relationships with the communities in which we operate in. Building community acceptance and trust in all our projects through effective engagement is critical to our success, therefore we are committed to open and honest dialogue with our stakeholders. Best practice community engagement, tailored to align with stakeholder needs, will underpin every stage of our renewable energy projects.

We respect and acknowledge the diversity of communities
Our engagement aims to build meaningful, mutually beneficial relationships by supporting inclusion and participation of all our communities and people. We will do this by engaging respectfully and tailoring our engagement to the unique local context. Our localised culturally sensitive approach will collaborate with industry experts, First Nations leaders, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) groups and various stakeholders to achieve shared prosperity that is fair and mutually beneficial for all.
SPACE
First Nations engagement
Our engagement with First Nations people will be guided by local elders and leaders who have authority in the community. As ambassadors for their community, their expertise and local knowledge will be essential to help us build long-term relationships that provide opportunities for First Nations participation.
We will also be guided by the Leading Practice Principles: First Nations and Renewable Energy Projects (click to view) and a range of State and Federal guidelines.
