We build and maintain respectful and collaborative relationships with the communities in which we operate. Building community trust and acceptance in all our projects through effective engagement is critical to our success; therefore, we are committed to facilitating open and honest dialogue with our stakeholders. We adopt best practice community engagement to align with stakeholder needs and underpin every stage of our renewable energy projects.
Your input will help us understand your community's views and needs. We will keep you informed about our proposed projects by:
- engaging early with your community
- holding public and online information sessions
- developing Community Benefit Sharing programs
- employing locally and creating local and social procurement opportunities
- sharing and publishing information online.

Delivering community benefits
We focus on long-term investment in the regions and the communities that host our projects and will work with you to design community benefit programs that foster lasting economic benefits that provide real value to your community. Our community benefit strategies aim to build social capital and community capacity. We will invest in local and social procurement to create job and business opportunities to support our workers for our future. We will procure local expertise and talent within our communities. Our social procurement will offer training and development opportunities to those most disadvantaged develop their skills, competencies, and capacity, helping them adapt to economic and social challenges.
